Newpath Hypnotherapy is the practice of Sandra Moscardo, a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Strategic Psychotherapist, Strategic Coach and Behavioural Change Partner.

Before establishing Newpath, Sandra spent 15 years working in corporate technology before making a career change into the work she had always felt drawn to. In 2026, she was named Best Clinical Hypnotherapist in the Sutherland Shire.

Sandra works with people facing a wide range of personal and professional challenges. Her approach can draw on clinical hypnosis, strategic psychotherapy, behavioural change and coaching, depending on the individual and what they want to change.

While many of Sandra’s clients are based in the Sutherland Shire, she also works with people across Sydney, Australia and overseas.

Newpath Hypnotherapy is also preparing for its next stage, with a planned rebrand to Newpath Business Workshops | Personal Growth. The new name will reflect Sandra’s two areas of work: one-to-one personal growth sessions and workshops for leaders and teams.

Before moving to the Sutherland Shire, Sandra had built her practice in Bondi and later Bondi Junction.

After relocating and having her two daughters, she wanted to establish Newpath closer to home. Some existing clients continued to travel from the eastern suburbs, but Sandra was also introducing the practice to a new local audience.

She needed somewhere private and comfortable for personal one-to-one conversations, while also being easy for clients to reach. Parking, public transport and a central Sutherland Shire location all mattered.

Being based in Miranda also gives Sandra something important personally: a clear separation between work and home, while still keeping her close to her family.

When she is at Inspire Cowork, she can focus fully on her practice. When she leaves, work stays at work.

Sandra discovered Inspire Cowork while searching online for consulting rooms in the Sutherland Shire.

The private room was one of the first things that appealed to her. It gave her a dedicated place for confidential client sessions while still being part of a wider workplace with other practitioners and professionals around.

That wider environment was important too. Running a practice on your own can sometimes feel isolating, and Sandra liked the idea of having other professionals nearby without giving up the privacy of her own room.

She has even reconnected with a former colleague who now works as a naturopath at Inspire Cowork – an unexpected benefit of being part of the wider space.

Just as importantly, the room did not feel overly clinical or impersonal.
Sandra wanted somewhere calm, warm and welcoming. Over time, she has made the room feel like her own, and clients regularly comment on how cosy and comfortable it feels.

Sandra generally works from Inspire Cowork on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

A typical day starts with opening her room and making a coffee before seeing clients. Between appointments, she completes notes, administration and preparation for upcoming sessions.

Her one-to-one work includes clinical hypnosis, strategic psychotherapy and strategic coaching.

Having her own dedicated room means Sandra is not working around hourly room bookings. Some conversations need longer than others, and she can let the session move at the pace the client needs.

“I don’t want clients watching the clock or feeling rushed when they are discussing something important.”

The arrangement is also simple from a business point of view. Sandra has her own room and manages her schedule independently, while the practical essentials are covered through one monthly arrangement rather than having to manage an entire standalone premises herself.

The same room also gives clients something important: familiarity.

They return to the same environment each time rather than moving between different consulting rooms.

Sandra says that consistency can matter when people are talking about something personal or vulnerable.

“Many of the people I work with need a sense of certainty. Returning to a familiar space helps them settle more easily and feel safe enough to engage fully in the session.”

For Sandra, comfort is about more than how a room looks. It is part of helping people feel at ease enough to speak openly and engage in the work they have come to do.

The client experience begins before someone enters Sandra’s room.

Inspire Cowork’s reception and waiting areas give clients somewhere welcoming to arrive before their appointment, helping the whole visit feel considered from the moment they walk in.

Sandra also values the support of the Inspire Cowork community manager, who is available when she needs assistance. That means Sandra can keep her attention on her clients rather than worrying about the wider running of the building.

Around two and a half years after moving in, the setup still gives Sandra what she was looking for: her own familiar consulting room, a location close to home and the freedom to run Newpath in her own way.

As Newpath prepares to become Newpath Business Workshops | Personal Growth, the Miranda consulting room will continue to support Sandra’s one-to-one Personal Growth work.

For Sandra, it has become her “own little sanctuary within the wider coworking space.”
